Dhan Raj Ghimire

Executive Director

Dhan Raj is on a mission to end the exploitation, trafficking, and abuse of women and children in Nepal and beyond.

He has rescued 457 children and women from trafficking and abuse and has liberated and restored more than 1200 street children. He has trained over 500 pastors and leaders in Child Protection and Anti Human Trafficking projects in Nepal and has represented Nepal at the United Nations for International Children’s day.
Before his conversion, he hated and persecuted Christians, but when God miraculously healed his wife Sharmila from a fatal heart problem when there was no hope, he, along with his wife accepted the Lord Jesus Christ as their personal Savior.
Since then, God has given them the vision to serve those in need, dying in the slums and streets. They both left their previous jobs (school teacher and nurse) and have been in the full-time ministry serving people who are in dire need of help.
He has traveled extensively in Nepal and abroad. He lives in Kusunti Lalitpur with his wife, son Ayooub, and Daughter Angeline.

Sharmila is the Co-Founder of Karuna Care Nepal and the Program Manager for the Rescue and Restoration Project.

Formerly she was a full-time nurse, but after God's direct healing intervention in her life, she converted to Christianity and joined the full-time ministry.
She has a passion for serving at-risk women and children, especially those who are trafficked, sexually abused, exploited, and sex workers.
She has rescued and restored hundreds of women and children and helped them to live a life of dignity. She is the "Aunty" of many children, and many regard her as Mother.

Jeffrey Garner has served as Pastor and Discipleship Lead at San Francisco Lighthouse Church since 2003.

Jeffrey Garner has served as pastor at San Francisco Lighthouse Church since 2003. He serves as the Teaching Pastor and Discipleship Lead.
His academic work has been in the field of Johannine Literature with a core emphasis on the Beloved Disciple.
He loves conversing thru the Christian mystics, philosophy, and how the Gospel impacts social justice. He seeks to engage in work that demonstrates a love for his home city of San Francisco.

David Ennis has been in executive level business management and consulting since 2017, with emphasis in finance and operations.

David Ennis, is a husband to Lexy and a father of three boys. He and his wife have a passion for serving marginalized peoples through holistic care and development!

Paul Kennel has spent 45 years in International work as a charity worker. He is currently working for Homage.

Paul Kennel has spent 45 years in International work as a charity worker and Executive Manager. His work focus has been organizational management and program development.
He is currently working for Homage, an organization serving older adults and people with disabilities to have dignity and enhanced quality of life while they remain independent. He lives with his wife in Seattle, Washington.
